Short course Terms and Conditions

  • Once you have booked your course then you will have already accepted these terms and conditions
  • We currently only accept online bookings for courses
  • Course bookings are non-transferable to another person nor are fees paid transferable to another course
  • A no-show is a condition when an expected person does not arrive or appear somewhere they were expected to be. If you are a ‘no show’ on the day then you lose all fees paid and you will not be eligible for a refund.
  • If a booking is cancelled by you with more than 7 business days’ notice, we will refund your fees less a $25 cancellation fee
  • If you cancel with less than 7 business days to 2 business days’ notice (prior to the commencement of the session) then you will be charged a cancellation fee of 50% of the course fees.
  • If you wish to reschedule with more than 7 days’ notice, then there is no fee. This applies once only. For the second rescheduled session, and each subsequent rescheduled session, a $50 reschedule fee applies.
  • If you wish to reschedule with less than 7 business days but more than 2 business days’ notice (from the course commencement) then there is a $50 rescheduling fee. This fee must be paid immediately to secure your rescheduled session.
  • You cannot reschedule your course within 2 business days of the course start time. If you cancel your course within 2 business days, you will be charged a cancellation fee of 100% of the course fees
  • If you require to reschedule / cancel your course due to extenuating circumstances, a refund will be considered on a case-by-case basis by the RTO Manager.
  • If you require to reschedule/cancel your course due to illness, please supply a medical certificate excusing you from the days training. If a medical certificate or similar is supplied, a refund will be considered by the RTO Manager if the course cannot be rescheduled.
  • On confirmation of your booking, we will send you a confirmation of enrolment by email
  • We request participants arrive 10 minutes prior to the advertised/informed starting time.
  • In the event you are running 15 minutes or later, YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO ENTER, this will be treated as a ‘no show’
  • If a student submits an assessment that is deemed to be plagiarised, the student will be charged a 100% cancellation fee for the course. The student will have the option to re-enrol and pay the full course fee again.
  • Flex-ability PTY LTD t/as My Flex Training reserves the right to cancel a course due to unforeseen circumstances. Should this occur, any fees paid will be refunded in full, or you may reschedule with no additional fees
  • Please discuss any language, literacy or numeracy (LLN) issues with us prior to attending. This will enable the instructor to organise appropriate support facilities, for example we can arrange to conduct some assessments orally rather than in the written form, or provide extra tuition, as appropriate. My Flex Training offers one-on-one training in the form of tutorials to students.
  • Our courses involve various types of lifting, physical demonstrations, and a required level of fitness. If you believe you may be unable to demonstrate the physical skills and performance in line with course competencies, please contact us before booking this course. For CPR & Provide First Aid you are required to complete 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR at floor level. Please contact us if you have any questions in regards to the physical requirements of the course on 9427 7518.
  • All students will require a Unique Student Identifier in order to be issued a Statement of Attainment, this information has been sent to you and this only takes a few minutes. You must supply your USI on enrolment. Please visit https://www.usi.gov.au/students/get-a-usi for instructions of how to obtain a USI.
  • Payment is required at the time of enrolment.
  • On successful completion of HLTWHS005 Conduct manual tasks safely, HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation & HLTAID011 you will be issued a Statement of Attainment.
  • On successful completion of our non-accredited course you will be issued a ‘Certificate of Attendance’.
