For Hospital, Aged care and Disability Setting Manual Handling

Important note: Students must have access to the following equipment to complete the practical assessment requirements online:

  • Slide sheet
  • Bed
  • Standing hoist or Sara Stedy and sling
  • Full body hoist (mobile or standing) and sling
  • Chair or wheelchair

For Community Based Setting Manual Handling

Enrol here 

Important note: Students must have access to the following equipment to complete the practical assessment requirements online:

  • Chair with armrests (preferred),
  • Second chair
  • Gait belt (if required),
  • appropriate footwear
  • One person ( playing the role client )
  • One-handed walking aid
  • Low stool
